Team
These fine folks make up your Leave it to Weaver team and are dedicated to honest work, quality results, and superior customer care.
Ben Weaver grew up in East Texas, tinkering with any repair project or outdoor adventure imaginable, alongside his dad. He then headed to the University of North Texas for a degree in Psychology, all the while moonlighting as a punk rock drummer in dive bars and venues across the country. After graduation, he decided to do more hands-on work and got into Property Management / Maintenance. Ben spent eight years in the industry before moving to Weaverville, where he decided he could better help people by starting his own business…and the Leave it to Weaver dream was born! LITW has been successfully serving WNC ever since.
When he’s not lending a helping hand at your home, Ben is probably enjoying one of his many outdoor hobbies. He loves hiking, backpacking, rock climbing, canoeing, and snowboarding. Oh, did we also mention he’s STILL a drummer?! He’s all about music and can be found catching a show or playing one on the regular.
As Leave it to Weaver has grown, Ben has sought out other friendly and hardworking professionals to join the team.
When he’s not out hiking, rafting, or canoeing, Zach can help make all your deck dreams come true. He’s been working with wood at LITW for the past three years and brings 25 years of experience with him - from wood rot repairs to complete deck rebuilds, from fencing to stairs, he’s got you covered in carpentry.
Originally from Savannah, Zach settled in these here mountains ten years ago after falling in love with the area while visiting friends on his Appalachian Trail thru-hike in 2014. He likes a good fire pit and reading The Dark Tower Series by Stephen King while enjoying some scenic solitude at his home in Barnardsville. Contact LITW to get scheduled with this lumber lord.
Tiffany’s got a long background of working with all sorts of different hands-on skills, both professionally and for play. She enjoys welding, stained glass making, woodworking, gardening, sports, games, and making art. When she’s not crafting or creating, she can be found dancing, singing, hiking, trail running, camping, or traveling.
She loves to have fun and sees life as a great and wonderful experience - we’re grateful to have that joyful curiosity on the team! Tiffany’s been calling these beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains her home for 14 years and is ready to help make YOUR home even better - just reach out to LITW to book with Tiffany.
Marty joined LITW in January, bringing with him 25 years of experience. He’s an Asheville native, but spent a decade in Atlanta. He couldn’t stay away from these mountains - we’re very happy he came back home!
When he’s not helping with your handyman to-do list, he can be found nearby hiking, kayaking, or skiing. He’s a self-proclaimed “Mexican Food Fanatic’’ and a lover of some solid classic movies like Back to the Future, Indiana Jones, and James Bond. Random fact: Marty’s been to every state in the US except California and Alaska. Contact LITW to book your next appointment with Marty and talk about some travels!
